Elevate Jiu Jitsu

Elevate Jiu Jitsu is a family-oriented martial arts academy located at 895 Fox Valley Dr in Longwood, Florida, situated near Sabal Point Elementary School. Founded originally in July 2024 before opening its current facility in January 2025, the school provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for youth and adult practitioners. Prospective students can call (321) 422-0448 to schedule a free trial class. The academy is owned and operated by Professor Filemon Teixeira, a black belt who trained in Brazil, alongside co-owner and purple belt instructor Cameron Hamel. Both instructors bring diverse perspectives to the mats, Kids BJJ programs are split into 4-to-6 and 7-to-12 age brackets. Adult training accommodates students ages 13 and older across morning, afternoon, and evening sessions, complemented by a regular Saturday 12:00 pm open mat for drill work and practice.
