Estilo Jiu Jitsu

Estilo Jiu Jitsu provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction at 770 Park Road NW, Suite T01, at the corner of Park Road and Sherman Avenue in Washington, District of Columbia. Established in late 2021 in the Park View neighborhood, the boutique studio features 900 square feet of mat space, private showers, and changing facilities. The academy is founded and directed by head instructor Luis Pantoja, a third-degree black belt who earned his rank in 2009 under Mario Yamasaki, Fernando Yamasaki, and Francisco Neto of the Yamasaki Academy. Bringing nearly two decades of teaching experience and extensive tournament competition, Professor Pantoja emphasizes positional leverage, defensive strategy, and conceptual problem-solving over raw physical strength. Class options include fundamental jiu-jitsu coursework, advanced technique sessions, women-only classes, and structured youth training. Prospective practitioners can explore the program by booking a complimentary introductory trial class.
