Marangoni Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Academy

Marangoni Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Academy delivers martial arts education and submission grappling instruction at 480 E 6th Ave in Salt Lake City, Utah. Operating Monday through Saturday, the facility serves as the United States headquarters for the international Marangoni BJJ network, originally established in 2008. Head Instructor and co-founder Professor Gabriel Marangoni is a 4th-degree black belt under Caio Terra Academy and an international IBJJF referee who has taught in over thirty countries. His competitive resume includes multiple No-Gi World Championship titles won between 2021 and 2025 alongside Pan American gold medals. Judo instruction is led by black belt and BJJ purple belt Anh Nguyen, who earned his judo black belt from Cahill's Judo Academy, supported by brown belt BJJ coach Coach Gerardo and military combat veteran Coach Matt. Programs include adult beginners, fundamentals, advanced, no-gi, and competition training, alongside age-tiered kids divisions: Baby Sharks for ages 4 to 7, Jaguars for ages 8 to 11, and Lions for ages 12 to 15. Free trial classes are available for new students.
