Nokido Ju-Jitsu, Judo & BJJ is located at 1050 Innovation Ave., Unit B109 in North Port, FL 34289. The dojo maintains training hours from Monday through Friday between 5:00 PM and 8:30 PM. The school is owned and operated by Sensei Chris Ritchie, a certified 4th Dan instructor and competitive champion. The academy carries forward the traditional teachings developed by Hanshi Andrew Gruenwald and Shihan Earl DelValle. The dojo serves as an authorized martial arts training facility and a recognized stepupforstudents.org provider. Training programs include Junior Beginner Ju-Jitsu and Judo, Adult Beginner Ju-Jitsu and Judo, and Advanced Ju-Jitsu and Judo. Grappling students can also attend Junior BJJ, Adult BJJ, No Gi BJJ, and Home School Intro to Ju-Jitsu classes. Sessions incorporate technical self-defense instruction, throw repetitions, and live grappling.
