Signature of Jiu-Jitsu

The Belmont martial arts academy operates at 915 Ralston Ave in Belmont, California. The training center provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction, submission grappling technique, and youth character development for students throughout Belmont and San Mateo County. The academy is owned and directed by head professor Atahide "Taidi" Santana, an IBJJF-registered black belt under Master Charles Gracie with more than 13 years of continuous training. Professor Santana focuses on personal attention, structured guidance, defensive awareness, and technical grappling progression for practitioners of all experience levels. All programs are available in both gi and no-gi formats across structured age and skill divisions. Offerings feature youth jiu-jitsu classes designed for students ages 5 to 14 to build confidence and discipline, alongside adult fundamentals, advanced grappling sessions, and free trial introductory classes.
