Antonio Atahide da S Santana

Atahide "Taidi" Santana is the owner and head professor of Signature of Jiu-Jitsu in Belmont, California, which he founded in 2022 and where he teaches all of the academy's gi and no-gi programs. He is a registered IBJJF black belt with more than 13 years of continuous training. Santana began in Brazil under Marcelo "Cyborg" Siqueira, earning his brown belt and several regional titles there, and after moving to the United States received his black belt from Master Charles Gracie. He is certified in the Winner's Methodology for Children's Jiu-Jitsu, which he uses in the kids program, and has spent three years developing his own adult teaching methodology, updating both programs as techniques and teaching strategies evolve. His stated philosophy is that every student, whatever their age or experience, deserves personal attention and structured guidance.
