Team Kriebel Ohio Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy delivers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction and self-defense training at 3570 Forest Lake Dr in Uniontown, Ohio. Established in 2021 as a Nova União affiliate, the academy provides technical martial arts classes for children, teenagers, and adult students. The school was founded and is operated by Annette Nowak and Professor Chris Kriebel. Professor Kriebel is an IBJJF-certified 3rd Degree Black Belt under Eduardo "Dudu" Barros with over nine years of black belt instructional experience. A former Kent State University freestyle wrestler, Walsh Ironman All-American, and Fight 2 Win Pro competitor, Kriebel has earned more than 20 IBJJF tournament medals. The teaching staff includes co-owner and brown belt Annette Nowak, 1st-degree black belt and former APFC champion Josh Rohler, and black belt Adam Nail. Academy coursework features morning and evening adult gi classes, adult no-gi fundamentals and advanced training, and youth classes organized for children ages 5 to 7 and 8 to 13. Training emphasizes takedowns, guard retention, positional control, and submission transitions.
