Transform Jiu Jitsu Academy

Transform Jiu Jitsu Academy delivers martial arts education and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training at 5146 West 190th Street in Torrance, California. Located in Torrance just off 190th and Anza Avenue, the academy provides technical grappling instruction for children, adolescents, and adults. The academy is founded and led by Professor Alexandre Novaes, a 6th Degree Black Belt who brings more than forty years of martial arts experience to the mats. Professor Novaes directs daily class sessions personally, teaching leverage-based technique, positional control, and strategic submission mechanics. Course offerings include Little Champs for ages 3 to 6, Youth Jiu-Jitsu for ages 6 to 12, Teens Jiu-Jitsu for ages 12 to 16, and adult classes for ages 16 and older. The curriculum features Advanced Gi and No-Gi classes, women-only training sessions, and the Transform Jiu-Jitsu Competition Team, supported by introductory trial classes.
