Unita Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu operates at 2 Mascoma St #4 in Lebanon, NH 03766, sharing training space in the same facility as Baan Muay Thai. The academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for practitioners across the Upper Valley area. Instruction is directed by Head Coach Dax Mitchell, who received his black belt from instructor Tom Dinklage after a decade of training. Coach Mitchell has taught martial arts in Lebanon for over 8 years and received his 3rd degree from Dedeco Almeida in 2025, tracing his lineage through Carlos Gracie, Carlson Gracie, Ricardo Liborio, and Dedeco Almeida. Class offerings include gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions. Prospective students can register online for a free trial class before enrolling. Members participating in gi training wear a rashguard, dri-fit, or fitted t-shirt under the gi jacket, with loaner uniforms available at the gym.
