Wanderley Jiu Jitsu & MMA delivers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and combat sports training at 5352 N 118th Ct in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 2020, the academy conducts martial arts and physical conditioning programs for children, teenagers, and adult practitioners across Milwaukee and Wauwatosa. The school was established by Owner and Head Instructor Daniel Wanderley, a 5th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Carlson Gracie Jr. and Gutenberg Melo originally from Recife, Brazil. A veteran instructor of Carlson Gracie HQ and Roufusport, Wanderley served as BJJ coach for Team Pettis on Season 20 of The Ultimate Fighter, coaching Carla Esparza to the inaugural UFC Strawweight title, and has awarded black belts to fighters including Anthony Pettis and Gerald Meerschaert. The coaching staff features Head Striking Coach Jordan Mapa, a professional MMA fighter with seven victories, and black belt Gabriel Wanderley, who directs youth classes. Academy coursework includes adult gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, no-gi grappling, kickboxing and Muay Thai, mixed martial arts, and youth BJJ for ages 6 and older. Prospective students can register for a complimentary one-day trial.
