Daniel Wanderley is the owner and head instructor of Wanderley Jiu Jitsu & MMA, which he founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2020. He is a 5th degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Carlson Gracie Jr. and Gutenberg Melo. Before opening his own academy he spent years coaching at Carlson Gracie HQ and Roufusport, and he now personally teaches the majority of the classes. His coaching career includes work with fighters from the UFC and other major MMA organizations. Among those who earned their black belts under him are former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, Sergio Pettis, Gerald Meerschaert and Brendan Allen. He served as the Team Pettis BJJ coach on The Ultimate Fighter Season 20, working with Carla Esparza through her run to the finals.
