Master Sandy Bowman is the founder, owner and operator of Bowman's Martial Arts in Fort McMurray, Alberta, which he established in 1993. He has more than 43 years of experience and holds a seventh-degree black belt in Taekwondo along with a first-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The school he built offers Olympic Taekwondo, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and boxing for all ages. Bowman says he founded the academy because he believes the skills it teaches can benefit anyone regardless of age, skill level or goals, and the site notes that many of his students have gone on to become teachers, executives, RCMP officers, military members and community leaders.
