Detailed Description
Professor Gabriel Checco is the founder and head coach of Zangief Jiu Jitsu in Las Vegas. He has trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2000 and has years of experience both competing and teaching; the academy describes him as an accomplished BJJ athlete known for his technical skill and his dedication to students. Checco leads the academy's instructors and teaches in a family-friendly environment aimed at building confidence, fitness and practical self-defense. In 2020 he joined with Master Yami of Sunrise Martial Arts to create Rising Warriors Taekwondo / Zangief Taekwondo, adding a taekwondo program alongside the jiu-jitsu classes.
