Robert Edwin Mrotek Jr.

Robert Mrotek is the founder and professor at Inner Strength Martial Arts, which he opened in October 2009. Before that he was president of the martial arts club at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, where he and a small group of students trained grappling and kickboxing in a small room; those students encouraged him to open a gym. Mrotek received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt in 2016 from Master Cleber Luciano, and his academy is an affiliate of Chewy Ybarra of Ybarra Jiu-Jitsu in Modesto, California, a fifth-degree black belt under the same master. He travels to Thailand several times a year to train and to conduct seminars. Inner Strength is described as the only academy in the Twin Ports area recognized by the IBJJF and USBJJF.
